On Friday 10th November Basepoint Bromsgrove invites you to attend the Networking Hub 11:30am till 1:30pm.
World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support was a huge success and took place on Friday 29th September 2017.
Paul Tomlinson, owner of NemesisUK based at Basepoint Bromsgrove, joined 15,000 cyclists from all over the UK. Starting on Broad Street in the heart of Birmingham, the 100 mile fully closed road route took our riders on a breathtaking journey from city to country, passing through Staffordshire and Worcestershire via Sandwell and Dudley. With 1,754m of climbing, it was a challenging route with some notable climbs, but the beauty of the towns, villages and surrounding countryside was a suitable distraction from the lactic acid building in their legs! Upon crossing the finish line on Broad Street, riders rolled down to the impressive Arena Birmingham (NIA) where they received a hard earned medal before proceeding to celebrate their fantastic achievement with fellow riders, friends and family and a well earned beer.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event and has raised over £165.5 million since its start. People are encouraged to hold their own Coffee Morning or attend someone else’s. Last year £29.5 million was raised for Macmillan, this year they are hoping to raise even more.
Two workshops will become available at the Bromsgrove Basepoint centre in the near future; one in mid October and one in November. Both are 625sqft with a mezzanine floor office space and enjoy the benefit of a roller-shutter doors which allows vehicle access. The units are for light industry only so some restrictions relating to noise, waste and smells may apply.
