Nominated Charity Hits 10K Target
Basepoint Winchester's nominated local charity, The Joe Glover Trust, have recently hit their £10,000 match funding target for the year. Basepoint matches any money raised by the charity for up to £10,000 over a year.
The charity raised money by holding a Christmas Winter wonderland themed ball and participation in many events such as a Christmas Fayre, The New Forest Show, Bournemouth Air Festival and a sponsored bike ride.
Lucy Middleton, Basepoint Centre Manager, comments "It really has been a successful year for The Joe Glover Trust, in terms of their events, money raised and the fact that they have reached their full match funding target prior to March year end. The marketing and fundraising departments, volunteers and staff are a credit to the charity and we have loved working with them this year".
