My Story Over the past year I have experienced a lot of pain & heartache in this area whilst trying to start a family with my Fiancée of almost 11yrs. The team at Tommy’s in Birmingham have offered support, guidance & understanding at very dark times & have helped us to overcome the grief we have suffered.
Tommy's want to give every baby the best chance of being born healthy, so they work to fund medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage. They also provide a free information service that educates all parents-to-be about health in pregnancy.
They believe it is unacceptable that one in four women loses a baby every year.
Their information service is informed by their medical research and includes a telephone midwife service, a comprehensive website and free books and leaflets promoting health in pregnancy.

To raise money for this charity, I will be doing Total Warrior in June of 2017. This is a 12km Race with Obstacles like ‘The Plunge’ (4ft Deep Ice Bath), ‘Human BBQ’ (A Jump into Water over a Firepit) & ‘The Shocker’ (100’s of Live Wires to negotiate between).
