The Old Rectory bids goodbye to charity with final donation
The Old Rectory Business Centre, operated by Basepoint in Northfleet, recently presented The Arrow Riding Centre with a final cheque for £587.
The centre has supported The Arrow Riding Centre, a charity which provides specialist physiotherapy for the disabled, since November 2009, and with the support of its parent company, The ACT Foundation, has raised almost £12,000 for them over the past few years.
Michelle Gagie, centre manager at The Old Rectory, comments: “We have been supporting The Arrow Riding Centre for a few years now, but it is now time for us to move on and help a new charity in need of fundraising and support. We raised the money by hosting various raffles, book sales, charity car washes, curry and quiz nights, and many other centre activities involving the licensees and staff! We wish The Arrow Riding Centre every bit of success in the future with the amazing work they do in the local community, and hope our final donation makes a difference.”
