On Thursday, 30th March 2016, Basepoint Exeter sponsored the New Business Zone at the South West Business Expo which attracted more than 1,500 delegates from across the region.
The event at Exeter's Matford Centre, which was organised by Basepoint Exeter’s Licensee Thebestof Exeter, was bigger and better this year, showcasing more than 150 local businesses. The event was free to attend and offered visitors the chance to network with local business owners.
The Expo was aimed at business owners, professionals and start-ups looking to raise their profile and brand awareness within the region. There were plenty of networking opportunities including Speed-Networking and a Networking Café.
John Ashment, The Centre Manager of Basepoint Exeter said ‘we really enjoyed sponsoring and exhibiting at this year’s South West Business Expo for the fourth year running and it was great to see both friendly faces and lots of new faces establishing their businesses. There was plenty of excitement amongst exhibitors and delegates alike and it was evident that people were interested in building on the thriving business community which Exeter clearly has. We also enjoyed showcasing the services we offer at Basepoint Exeter and are keen to welcome new businesses into our centre.'
