Mince Pie Marathon Raises Money For ADDS
Management of The Old Rectory held a 12 hour bake off on Wednesday 12th December to raise money for charity.
Staff and tenants of the Northfleet, Basepoint Business Centre put in their orders of mince pies to support the fundraising event. A couple of tenants even rolled their sleeves up and helped with the baking. In total, 288 mince pies were made raising £141 for Alzheimer's and Dementia Support Services. This will be match funded by The ACT Foundation totalling to a fantastic £282 pounds. The event was good fun and it was great to see tenants giving up their time and pitching in. All proceeds will go towards the new chairs Basepoint hope to buy for the Day Centre at ADDS.
