26.2 Hilly Miles and Medals Galore!
Running 26.2 miles is always a great way to spend a Bank Holiday Weekend....
Rebecca Gattinesi and Claire Johnson devoted their Bank Holiday weekend to running in the Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend.
This comprised of:
Saturday - 10 miles of hills in East Grinstead
Sunday - 10 miles of hills in Haywards Heath
Monday - 6.2 miles of hills in Burgess Hill
The entire event was promoted by Mid Sussex District Council and the 3 town councils. It was fantastically organised and great fun to take part in.
Rebecca's combined time of 3:43:00 beat her Brighton Marathon time from 2016 and Claire's combined time of 5:09:12 beat her London Marathon time from 2015. Well done to both of them!
