Basepoint Dash at the Donkey Derby!
Basepoint Shoreham attended the very popular Donkey Derby & Classic Vehicle Rally put on annually by the Adur East Lions Club at Buckingham Park, Shoreham on Sunday, 4 June 2017.
The beautiful weather brought out Adur East Lions Supporters, local families as well as Basepoint Shoreham Centre Manager Amanda Jones. Amanda Jones was there to cheer on the donkeys and pin the rosettes onto the winners of the Basepoint Dash Donkey Race. Amanda Jones said “It was an amazing event and a great day. We are proud to support a local charity and it was lovely to see so many children and families taking part and having fun.”
The Lions raised over £5000 from the event with every penny going to help deserving causes, many of them within the local area.
