A healthy start for a charitable cause

Crawley

The Basepoint Crawley team kicked off a series of charity fundraising events today with a very healthy challenge.

The team are raising funds to buy a defibrilator for the centre & started the fundraising by cycling the London - Brighton bike ride distance (54 miles) on a static bike in reception at Basepoint Crawley. Despite the exceptionally hot weather, the team completed the challenge in an incredible 4 hours & 15 minutes.

The team also put their baking skills to the test & provided a variety of cakes for licensees & visitors to the centre - all for a donation to the fundraising pot of course.

We'd like to say a big thank you to Crawley licensee, Paul Powders of Powders Power for generously providing the bike & to everyone who has donated so far. More challenges are on the way to help raise the funds needed so watch out for more event coming up soon.

To show your support for the team in the meantime, you can pop in to the centre to drop off a donation, or you can donate via Just Giving.
