The Centre is expecting around 30 Jaguar Cars owned by members to furnish the car park area, this in itself will be a great spectacle. This event is

being held in memory of Ivor Harrison (a member of the XKEC Club) who sadly lost his fight to cancer in April 2017. Ivor's family will be attending

this event along with his car that will take pride of place. This is a private event and is not open to the general public. All monies raised will be donated to

The Darent Valley Cancer Fighting Fund which helps with research and equipment.

In Memory of IVOR HARRISON By Les Harrison (Son)

My Dad (Ivor) had been dealing with cancer for the last 3 years. Just when we thought he was clear, we were given the devastating news that it had returned and that the tumour was inoperable. He was given just 18 months to live. He sadly died on 17th April 2017.

Throughout his illness Dad remained positive, dignified and gentlemanly. He never questioned “why me” he just accepted and fought it.

My Dad was my best mate, my hero and he has always been my guide through life. As a tribute to Dad I have decided to take on the biggest physical challenge of my life along with my brother in law “Richard Cheney”. We have decided to join the Valley to Paris Cycle run, a journey which will take us from Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford to The Eiffel Tower in Paris, some 255 miles. The money raised will be going to the Darent Valley Cancer Fighting Fund helping with research and equipment. It will literally help save lives.

Lets hope the sun shines for this great event
