On Thursday 20th July Basepoint Newhaven will host the summer edition of our popular Networking Hub with guest speaker Clive Findlay of Consult UK.
The event is completely free to attend and runs from 12pm-2pm, including a light buffet lunch, refreshments and plenty of networking opportunities.
This month’s guest speaker is Clive Findlay of Consult UK. Clive, now owner and director of Consult UK, has experience in early career operational and management experience in hospitality, quality and project management, and adult education in the UK, Saudi Arabia, China, and India. Clive also has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience in working with organisations around the world in supporting their individuals and teams in gaining professional management and leadership, quality management, and project management qualifications.
This month’s topic will be: The Role of Coaching and Mentoring in Small to Medium Sized Businesses
Clive will talk about the range of benefits to the owner-manager - and business - of:
• creating a culture of Continuous Learning and Development
• taking on the role of Coach to individuals and teams in the organisation
• taking on the role of Mentor to certain individuals
• the owner-manager being supported themselves by an external Personal Mentor
