Concert in Aid of The Orchard Trust
The Innsworth Military Wives Choir, The Lydney Primary Schools Choir and the Lydney Training Band came together on Saturday 13th May at Lydney Town Hall for a lively evening packed with music and fun!
It was a charity concert organised in aid of The Orchard Trust which is an independent registered charity based in Lydbrook that supports the involvement, independence and development of people with learning disabilities in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
The concert featured three musical acts – the fabulous Innsworth Military Wives Choir, The Lydney Primary Schools Choir which is a collaboration of young voices from four local primary schools, and the Lydney Training Band. The music covered a range of well know tunes from traditional to modern.
The concert was attended by an audience of close to 250 people. The performers gave their very best efforts and the concert was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The concert raised funds in excess of £1000 for the Orchard trust and Basepoint Chepstow are proud to be match funding this amount.
