Basepoint Co-Sponsors Ipswich Maritime Festival
The festival, which takes place every other year, ran from 10am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Around 60,000 people attended the event over the course of the 2 days, with crowds gathering along the marina to enjoy the special atmosphere and celebrate the town’s maritime history.
The entirity of the walkway around the marina was filled with street stalls for food, drink, crafts, plants and other treats. There was also a number of pop-up bars, and live music across two stages.
It was the third community event Basepoint Ipswich had sponsored this year, including Ipswich Wheels and the Twilight Race.
Centre Manager Alison Morrissey commented "It is important to us that we are able to support the local community and sponsoring these occasions is the perfect way to do so! We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend at the maritime festival and hope to be able to continue our support with these events going forward"
