Basepoint Licensee wins at Business Awards

Local creative company Noted in Style, who have operated from units at Basepoint for the last 4 years, scooped the Small Business Award at the Ashford Business Awards last Thursday, beating off stiff competition from other local entrepreneurial businesses such as Simply Ice Cream, South Timber & Damp and Colin Bat Removals.
The award was based on overall company performance, growth and business planning, making it a tough category to be in and with such a large amount of entries, judges described the end competition between shortlisted nominees as “a very difficult choice”.
The successful small business based in the Folkestone business centre Basepoint, Noted in Style handcraft bespoke stationery and packaging for the corporate market. Exhibiting passion and engagement with their staff, the company has grown from one person to a team of fifteen skilled local individuals in the space of five years, gradually spreading across three of the centre’s units in that time.
With this and previous awards in mind (they took home the KITA Business Growth Award in 2015) it looks like there are exciting times ahead for Noted in Style.
