National Pet Month

Chepstow

For the first part of April, as part of National Pet Month, we here at Basepoint held a Pet Photo Competition. We asked our licensees to send in a photo and complete a short submission form describing the breed, age, name of their pet and a little story to go along with it.

The response we had was overwhelming and 26 entrants were put forward. From comical to cute pictures and heart-warming to hilarious stories the competition put a smile on the faces of all who stopped to take a look.
The competition was judged by a 3rd party and was based on 3 categories: Cutest, Most Comical and Bravest.
It was a tough call in all categories but the winners we Eva the Ragdoll cat with the most beautiful blue eyes for ‘Cutest’, Bruce the miniature Schnauzer whose favourite place is the en-suite bathroom and who once dove out of the window after a cat for ‘Most Comical’ and Khaos the Hermann’s Tortoise who had to battle for his life against blisters on his face, which were nearly fatal and could have left him blind when he was just a baby, for ‘Bravest’.
Each winner received a Rosette and prize.
As all Basepoint Centres are pet friendly we love it when we get to hear about our licensee’s pets and we especially love it when they bring their pets into work with them!
