Batgirl takes on Ipswich Hospital Zipline Challenge

Ipswich

Centre Manager Ali jumped from the top of the maternity wing to raise funds for Ipswich Hospital Charity.

The Charity, which raises funds for departments not currently funded by the NHS, hold an annual event at the hospital, and this year was superhero ziplining!
Dressed as Batgirl, Ali ziplined 135 feet across the hospital compound and raised a total of £180 in donations from friends, family and licensees.

"It was definitely a great, fun way to raise money for a charity close to the hearts of many local people. We all know someone who has made use of these services and it is important that we, as a community, continue to support the fantastic work they do. I only wish they had let me go faster!" commnted Ali.

Across the event in excess of £50,000 was raised.
