South Central Development
The South Central development at Test lane, Nursling is the first speculative new industrial development close to the Port of Southampton in a decade and will create three high-specification units with a combined value of over £30m.
Construction at the development’s 116,895 sq ft Unit 1 and 39,075 sq ft Unit 2 is almost complete, while John Lewis Partnership is making final preparations to move into the completed Unit 3, which will be used as a 46,080 sq ft regional distribution centre.
The three units covers a total of 16.13 acres and includes a linear park.
Each unit will benefit from a Grade A specification including 11 metre eaves height, 50 kn per sq m floor loading, dock and level access loading doors, full access raised floor offices and large secure self contained yard.
