Making Tax Digital Seminars at Basepoint Ipswich
Basepoint Ipswich, in connection with local Accountant Alistair Porter of Orwell Accountants, will be hosting short introductory seminars over the Summer on 'Making Tax Digital'.`
From April 2019 any businesses with a turnover above the VAT threshold (currently £85,000) will have to keep their records digitally (for VAT purposes only) and provide their VAT return information to HMRC through Making Tax Digital (MTD) functional compatible software.
As this is a subject we realise will affect a number of licensees, we will be holding the free seminars far in advance of the Government legislation to give people as much time as possible to implement any necessary changes.
Although this event is tailored to Basepoint licensees, we will also be hosting a Networking event on the 28th of September for both internal and external businesses with Alistair giving a more in-depth presentation and question and answer session.
