Basepoint Ipswich Donates Over £7,000 to Cancer Campaign in Suffolk
Basepoint Ipswich recently presented a cheque for £7,833.00 to Karen Hare, CEO of local charity Cancer Campaign in Suffolk.
The donation was raised through a series of fundraising events including The Copdock Bike Show, Wear A Wig to Work Day, and networking events held at the business centre.
Cancer Campaign in Suffolk (CCiS) is a charity which aims to improve access to high quality information and support services to cancer patients and their carers in Suffolk and the centre has been fund raising for the charity for 12 months.
Centre Manager Michelle Wootton said, "It is fantastic that our licensees have actively engaged in helping us raise these funds for CCiS. Simon Cooper (Pictured centre) of Tyson Cooper has been a licensee at the centre for nearly 5 years and was a key organiser of the Copdock Bike Show and recently Jane billing of Billie Box organised a Grand Draw for the charity. We look forward to presenting CCiS with another cheque from our events in the near future!"
