Mission Christmas
With only 41 sleeps until Christmas, we all dream of waking up to a gift under the tree. This year, we at Basepoint Havant will be supporting Mission Christmas campaign by Cash For Kids, so we can ensure more kids wake up to a present on Christmas Day.
Cash for Kids is Bauer Radio’s network of local charities, whose mission is to respond to the needs of children in our communities, and to aspire to enable all children to live life to the full and achieve their individual potential.
They use the power of radio brands to deliver initiatives for sick and underprivileged children in our communities, to benefit local children and give the most disadvantaged a better and brighter future.
Research show 1 in 4 children across the UK will be living in poverty this Christmas but supporting the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal we will help ensure that every child wakes up to a visit from Santa.
We are now registered drop off point and anyone that would like to donate a gift and make Christmas special for the youngsters, they can do so in our reception area by the 13th December, everyday between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
With Christmas period being so busy for many businesses, we will be setting up an 'elf station' and in exhange of little donation we will be wrapping up Christmas presents for those of our clients who do not have time to do it themselves or have done a last minute Christmas shopping. All funds that we will raise will be donated to Mission Christmas as well for even more gifts to be provided.
