Basepoint Support Chepstow Foodbank
Basepoint Chepstow will be supporting the Trussell Trust affiliated food bank in the town to help those in need this winter.
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Chepstow foodbank is a charity run under the umbrella of Chepstow & District Churches Together and works in partnership with individual donors, local schools, businesses and community groups. With the help of the Trussell Trust we opened our doors in December 2012. We are supported by Chepstow Town Council who have helped us with storage space ever since we opened. We aim to see an end to UK hunger.
