Join us on Wednesday 9th January for our completely free event “Grab a Grant” to be held here at the Newhaven Enterprise Centre from 12-2pm. Come along and take advantage of the grant, funding and business support advice and services that are available to local businesses.
The event will take place in the breakout area where guest can take advantage of informal drop in sessions, information stands and advice from the top grant, funding and business support services including Locate East Sussex, The Manufacturing Growth Programme, Business East Sussex Growth Hub, Green Growth Platform and Coast to Capital.
Business East Sussex Growth Hub is a free and impartial service connecting the businesses of East Sussex to the best and most relevant sources of advice, support and access financially from across the public and private sectors, enabling businesses to grow and thrive. A ‘one-stop shop’ for business support and offers companies a lifeline: guiding them to the right support, at the right time. Our business navigators are here to guide you to the support you need to achieve your goals.
Locate East Sussex is the county’s official inward investment agency, working with start-ups and established companies looking to expand or move into East Sussex. Offered at no cost, our services include access to finance, 1-2-1 support and relocation advice, forging the right connections to support a sustainable business community.
The Manufacturing Growth Programme provides grants of up to £2,000 for local manufacturers, makers and producers wanting to grow their business. Through a simple application process, the grant can be approved within days and is available for the business to spend within a four month period. Having already helped hundreds of small to medium-sized businesses to increase their turnover and improve profitability, with funding due to end in March 2019, now is the time to find out how it can boost your business.
The University of Brighton’s Green Growth Platform supports a thriving green business sector in Sussex through a menu of 1-2-1 business support, innovation and R&D support, events, grants and funding and opportunities for skills development.
