Autism Wessex Sapphire Ball raises £6200 for charity
All monies have been accounted for and the final total is in - a huge £6200 was raised at the Autism Wessex Sapphire Ball held at the Queens Hotel in Bournemouth on the 29th June 2013. Basepoint Bournemouth, who attended the event with a table of the Basepoint Management team and a number of licensees, all enjoyed the event where a lovely three course meal was served followed by live music from The Alibi.
The event was well attended by Autism Wessex local sponsors with the prize auction raising a large sum. Daniel Freeman of Printsmarter, a licensee at our Basepoint Bournemouth Centre, was the proud winner of a specially donated bottle of Bollinger Champagne with Bollinger glasses and wine cooler. He commented "It is great to support a local charity such as Autism Wessex. The work they do at the school is remarkable and every penny raised at the event will go towards improving support and the lives of the young people with Autism".
The £6200 amount will be match funded by Basepoint to make an overall donation amount of £12400 for the charity. Basepoint Bournemouth would like to thank all of the licensees that joined us in support of the evening and look forward to attending the next event.
