Making Memories- Fundraiser for Alfie
Basepoint Romsey are holding a fundraising event here at Basepoint Romsey on Wednesday 3rd April!
Alfie Butler was diagnosed at 8 months old with a Grade 3 Ependymoma Brain Tumour on 1st Feb 2015. Over the last few years Alfie has endured hours of surgery to remove 3 brain tumours, 9 months of chemotherapy as well as 30 rounds of proton treatment in the USA. Alfie has been left with many impairments and disabilities from the previous treatment and surgery, however he continues to fight every day for his life.
After 2 1/2 years of clear scans sadly he relapsed in July 2018 and Sept 2018 and is now on palliative care as the options are limited and risks are so high. Alfie is almost 5 years old now and his future is now uncertain so we would like to raise some money for their family, maybe to put towards a nice family weekend away to make memories.
As Alfie’s mum works at the business centre we would be very grateful if you could support our event.
We are holding the following events and tickets (with a suggested donation of £5 each) can be purchased from reception, from today:
If you would like to join us to help support Aflie and his family, here are the events we have going on throughout the day...
- 3k run in the gym (tea/coffee and cupcake afterwards included!) £5 donation
- 3k walk at midday (Come rain or shine but there is tea and cupcake afterwards included!) £5 donation
- Tea, Coffee and Cupcake (Our aim is to sell at least 100!) £2 donation
- Car wash (Outside of the car only- by a valeting company not us!) Booking essential! £10 donation
