Suffolk Day Success
Not only did our licensees get to enjoy a BBQ in glorious sunshine, but we raised a fantastic amount for charity too!
Our county has definitely been lucky the past 3 years, so far each Suffolk Day has enjoyed wall to wall sunshine, and this year proved to be no different!
With the sun beating down and tunes playing from a PA system kindly donated by Adrian Gardner of Ipswich PA Centre, licensees tucked in to locally sourced BBQ meats provided and cooked at the centre by Cliff Lane butcher George Debman.
Along with providing us with delicious BBQ food, George also very kindly donated a bumper BBQ pack for one lucky licensee to win, which included a selection of burgers, sausages, chicken, pork and kebabs to feed a small army!
Brian Bendall of Seahawk Logitech was the lucky winner, and staff (who had also entered the raffle) grudgingly handed over the grand prize.
Via donations and the raffle, a fantastic amount of £289.50 was raised, which will be put towards our £3000 fund raising target this year for St Elizabeth Hospice.
