Luton Community Awards 2019
This year, for the 10th year in a row, we were delighted to support the Luton Community Awards run by Community Interest Luton.
"The Luton & Bedfordshire Community Awards is an annual ceremony, celebrating the unsung heroes of our diverse and multicultural community and applauding those that that seek to make the lives of others, easier, happier and more fulfilled." Since it begin 10 years' ago, Basepoint Luton has been sponsoring the event. This year we were joint sponsors of the 'Service with a Smile' award alongside the Bedfordshire Police.
The Management Team at Basepoint Luton attended the spectacular awards presentation evening alongside 600 other attendees and presented the award to winner, Donna Pratt. Donna has had a tough year dealing with family illness and other commitments but still found time to take part in numerous fundraising events, bringing out the best in the local community.
