Halloween Cake Sale
On Thursday 31st October, we held a Halloween themed cake sale. The cake was hosted by Recruit 12 who are based at the centre, raising funds for Asthma UK.
Matt who is the owner and director of Recruit 12 is taking part in the London Marathon 2020 in aid of Asthma UK. Matt has said that due to such high demand for the race you have to be a patron of a charity and raise £2000 – Matt's charity is Asthma UK, a charity that has helped him for years and which he has supported over the years.
Having dropped 8 stone in 4 years – Matt is taking on 6 months of challenges, concluding in April’s London Marathon 2020. All in aid of Asthma UK. You can check out his progress and show your support at here.
As well as the cake sale, Recruit 12 held a raffle for the chance to win gift vouchers for a full factory tour of Morgan Motor Company. Winners of the raffle were Sue and Rebecca who are based at the centre.
The cake sale and raffle managed to raise an amazing £160 which will be going towards Matt's £2000 target to run in the London Marathon 2020 for Asthma UK.
