On the Menu: Our story
Basepoint Winchester licensee Elizabeth Jones was inspired to start ‘On the Menu’ from the experience she had with her mother, Audrey, who became increasingly reliant on ready meals which were often unappetising, too large and did not provide the nutrition she needed.
Elizabeth has worked with dieticians to develop a delicious range of quality fresh-frozen meals that meet the nutritional and lifestyle requirements of older people.
Elizabeth comments “All our meals are hand prepared and based on home cooked recipes with lower salt and reduced saturated fat and source ingredients as close to home as possible. We are now looking forward to expanding our range through Home Delivery across England and Scotland, delivering straight to the homes of those who need them.
On the Menu was delighted to launch into its first Winchester store earlier this year.
They held a Morning Tea Party to celebrate, and the event was featured in the Hampshire Chronicle.
