From one office in Camberley, Surrey, the firm, which was founded in 2014, manages more than 200 consultants, who all have at least five years’ post-qualification experience, many at top City law firms.
The firm, which is set up as an alternative business structure, is believed to be the only firm in the UK to operate an unregulated practice providing advice on areas of work that are not classified as reserved activities (which can be done only by qualified lawyers), as well as guidance from lawyers regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
It is also thought to be the only firm to offer a fixed-price subscription service for commercial contracts, employment advice and services.
Its consultants have had many significant cases and high-profile clients over the past year, including advising a Nasdaq-quoted cloud communications provider on worldwide commercial contracts and employment law and an overseas client on a £650 million commercial, residential and leisure development.
