SOUTHAMPTON FOOD COURT PLANS APPROVED
lans to transform a building in Southampton into a new food court have been approved. The site earmarked for the venture is to the rear of the Broadway on Portswood Road. Under the plans, the existing building would be revamped to create a market-style food court.
It would comprise seven food stalls and a café/deli with customer tables and benches in the centre of the building. Bars, a soft play area, an office, storage and toilets are also proposed.
Southampton City Council approved the plans subject to a number of conditions, including that work begins within three years.
