Basepoint Waterlooville present charity with £1,434 to help children with hearing loss
Basepoint Waterlooville recently presented The Elizabeth Foundation (www.elizabeth-foundation.org), a national charity which supports infant and pre-school aged children with hearing loss, with a cheque for £1,434 after match-funding the proceeds raised from a summer fayre and raffle.
The Elizabeth Foundation is a national charity supporting infants and preschool children with hearing loss and their families. They provide education services, help, support and encouragement, and believe it is the right of every deaf child to be given the opportunity to learn to listen and talk.
Amy Sparling, Centre Manager for Basepoint Waterlooville, comments: “We’re delighted to present this cheque to our charity, The Elizabeth Foundation, and hope that the money enables them to continue their amazing work within the local community.”
