What's New

Basepoint Bromsgrove recently presented a cheque to the Basement Project to match fund the £1615.62 which they had raised. The Basement Project are a local charity which provides support for the young homeless.

The Basement Project is a daytime drop-in and outreach support service which provides information and practical and emotional support for young people in and around North Worcestershire who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless. The service is run by qualified youth workers with the help of volunteers and also provides access to cooking and washing facilities.

The funds were raised by various charity events which included a bag pack and odd job day at ASDA, a local business donation and an amazing £1000 raised on 12th July by runners at the 10K Timberhonger.

Some of the money that was raised went towards holding a bbq and to take a group and their children to the seaside for the day.

Basepoint Bromsgrove continue to support the Basepoint Project by match funding and are looking at other ways in which they can help them raise money.
