BASEPOINT CRAWLEY PRESENT £1,988.46 TO LOCAL CHARITY OUTREACH 3 WAY
Basepoint Crawley recently donated £1,988.46 to Outreach 3 Way representing fundraising from events at the centre that have been match funded by the Act Foundation.
Outreach 3 Way is a charity based in Crawley that supports adults with learning disabilities. They have used the fundraising to purchase equipment in their recently refurbished sensory room which helps the adults they support with the most profound disabilities.
The fundraising was raised at various events held at the centre including a Family Fun Day, and sponsorship from Centre Manager Rebecca’s 24 peaks challenge in the Lake District with the totals match funded through Basepoint’s parent company the Act Foundation. As Basepoint Crawley’s charity partner Outreach 3 way benefit from up £10,000 of match funding throughout the financial year and to date have received over £5,000 in donations.
Centre Manager Rebecca Gattinesi recently visited the sensory room at Outreach’s day care centre to present the cheque. Rebecca comments “We are delighted to have been able to raise just under a £1,000 at the centre through various events to be match funded and it is great to see how the money is used at their fantastic new day care facilities. We look forward to future match funding and fundraising opportunities.”
