Green fingers at Manor Green Primary win in Crawley

Crawley

Manor Green Primary School is the winner in Basepoint’s join us and grow campaign in the Crawley area, with their sunflower an impressive 125cm tall. 10 primary schools in Crawley took part in the competition to grow the tallest sunflower which was sponsored by Basepoint. The winning sunflower was closely followed by Northgate Primary in 2nd place, Hilltop Primary in 3rd place, and Milton Mount Primary in 4th place.

Centre Manager Rebecca Gattinesi said “The measurements were very close in the final week. All of the children have done a brilliant job at growing their sunflowers and it has been a pleasure to go out and visit them.” Manor Green will receive £250 worth of vouchers for IT equipment and books at their school which will be presented to them in September. Manor Green school in Ifield caters for primary children aged 2 - 11 years who have learning difficulties and additional needs.
