Basepoint Bournemouth – Making a Difference at Portfield School Summer Fayre
On Saturday 10th July, Basepoint Bournemouth Manager Carly Thompson hosted a stand at The Wessex Autistic Society’s Summer Fayre. The Fayre was held at Portfield School who Basepoint Bournemouth have elected to match fund £10k from their fundraising this year for the 3rd year running.Basepoint held the “B” competition for the children, whereby using a template of the B from our branding to imaginatively conjure up a picture involving it – much like our advertising campaigns! Creative flair was out in force, with Bumble Bees, Butterflies, Houses, Mr Men, and even Magical Kingdoms! The winner was chosen by an independent adjudicator, who chose Charlie Hovell (age 10) as the winner who came into the Centre this week to collect her prize; a Family Pass for 4 courtesy of ‘Adventure Wonderland Amusement Park’, not far from the Centre. Well done Charlie!
