Basepoint Crawley raises £405 for Comic Relief
Centre Staff at Crawley raised money for Comic Relief with a trolley service selling doughnuts and coffee that came round on Red Nose Day to all 83 units at the centre. Tenants were served by centre staff wearing red noses and deeply boppers, much to their delight! In addition Pauline Bylett very kindly donated her excellent cake-baking services, which were auctioned to the highest bidder. Hilary Grant of Ace Care Training & Consultancy in unit 27 won with a very generous bid of £85, and will be served afternoon tea with a cake made to order. Justin Acres of Clearwater People Solutions in unit 19 very kindly agreed to honour his bid which came in a close second, and in return Rebecca and Karen will provide the home made cakes for their afternoon tea. Rebecca Gattinesi, Crawley’s Centre Manager, said: “We are very pleased to support such a fantastic cause, and would like to thank all our licensees for taking part and for their generous donations”.
