Helicopter lands at Basepoint Exeter


Take one helicopter and two pilots, add 25 or so 3-star gold winners from the 2011 Great Taste Awards, whisk in the fact that these foods need to be collected from across the UK in one day – from dawn to dusk – and you have the recipe for an incredible feat of aeronautical dexterity, concentration and commitment.

The Great Taste Awards has teamed up with pilots Tim Virdee and Peter Waldron to crack the Dawn to Dusk Challenge. In one day they will collect the ingredients to put together an award-winning menu for 30 lucky diners, in a dinner assembled after the challenge celebrating all these products. Licensees at Basepoint Business Centre Exeter are in the final.
