Britain's small businesses unfazed by threat of Brexit

It's 'business as usual' for the nation's small firms, whether Britain is in or out of the EU.

Britain’s business owners remain unfazed by the threat of a British exit from the European Union, according to a landmark survey to be revealed on Tuesday at the Telegraph Festival of Business.

According to the study, some 70pc of bosses questioned argued that the UK’s membership of the European Union has had no effect on their business planning.

Just 8pc of the 1,000 small and medium-sized companies polled said that the debate surrounding a Brexit decision had a “major” effect on strategic planning, with 18pc claiming the impact was “minor”.
