‘Be a Star’ at Basepoint Crawley
Basepoint Business Centre Crawley supported charity Outreach 3 Way’s Christmas fundraising campaign ‘Be a Star’ with a series of activities at the centre. To raise money centre staff ran a raffle, with the top prize of a giant teddy bear kindly donated by Justin Acres of Clearwater, as well as a competition to guess the number of chocolate stars in a jar won by Gary Brooks of GB Physio. The winners were announced at the annual Christmas Tea afternoon attended by licensees at the centre. Licensees also voted for the ‘best dressed Christmas unit’ at the centre, a hotly contested competition this year with Unit 19 Clearwater People Solutions winning the most votes! In total the activities at Basepoint raised £352 for Outreach 3 way, and the total amount raised in the be a Star Campaign will be match funded through Basepoint by the ACT Foundation. The money helps Outreach to continue to provide vital support to adults with learning disabilities.
