On Sunday 20 September, 2009, was the long awaited Charity Car Show, sponsoring the Martha Trust, Basepoint Folkestone’s nominated charity. All the hard work of the organisers, of which one was Clive Kirkham a Director of OnTime windows, who is a past tenant of Basepoint Folkestone, resulted in a well run event. Even the downpour of torrential rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of those who attended.

Each month we have held a networking event inviting artists, designers, and key agency members in creative education, organisations and support agency networks. We have had a good attendance at all these events with people coming from all across Kent and Sussex. The idea has been to raise the profile of the building in the creative industry and cause a ‘buzz’ about The Joiners Shop.
Basepoint Folkestone and local charity the Martha Trust are together organising a fund-raising Ladies Fashion Show and Lunch to be held at Leas Cliff Hall on 17 November – with help from some of Basepoint’s licensees
As part of our corporate policy to recognise outstanding achievements made within the business community, the Birmingham Telegraph selected a number of forward-thinking companies that displayed a continual commitment to recognise best practice, innovative business processes and overall high quality customer-focused service.
Licensees gladly turned out for the annual Macmillan World’s Greatest Coffee Morning held at Eastcote on Friday 25th September. Tea, coffee and cakes were provided by Basepoint and donations invited.
