After an incredible downpour and the Romsey Team wondering whether all the licensee’s had decided not to attend, in they came from the cold. Chocolate biscuits are the way forward at Romsey and tend to guarantee attendance. Our new licensee for November is called Bac2, Director - Mike Stannard attended our coffee morning and following an excellent selection of choccy biscuits he upgraded to a larger office!

Basepoint Camberley recently hosted a designer handbag sale in aid of the centre’s chosen charity, Heartline, which raised approximately £400.
The Swindon Trauma Group held a fundraising evening at the Marriott Hotel recently. The Group were delighted to raise over £450 to help support 4 charities: The National Gulf Veterans and Families Association; SSAFA; St Dunston’s and Swindon Young Carers.
Carly Thompson, Centre manager at Basepoint Bournemouth, recently presented a cheque of £2,165.86 to local charity, Diverse Abilities Plus. The money was raised following six months of fundraising activities which includes a Michael Bublé Tribute evening at Westbeach, Bournemouth, and a quiz night at the Tavern Pub, Poole. Carly Thompson, centre manager at Basepoint Bournemouth, commented: “We are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile local charity and it’s great to be involved with the diverse range of events they organise, from their tribute evening to their forthcoming Scrumptious Home Baking recipe book.”
The Community Awards were held at Venue Central in Luton. This was the first event that was held at this brand new state of the art building, which housed over 400 people. Basepoint Luton were headline sponsors for “Service with a Smile” award celebrated with many other business; the achievements of so called “ordinary people” who have made Luton a better place to live and work.
