Comic Relief Red Nose Day comes to The Joiners Shop with fund raising efforts made by the staff and licensees to raise an amazing £240! John and Allison charged an admin fee on photocopying, faxing and any other office tasks, plus regular Tea/Coffee rounds with homemade cakes to try and raise as much money as possible. One licensee had a member of staff locked in the manager’s office whilst sending a fax and was only released when they donated money! John cleaned licensee’s offices for a £10 donation and a raffle was organised for the licensees to win a number of prizes including champagne and flowers. A big thank you to all involved.
Centre Staff at Crawley raised money for Comic Relief with a trolley service selling doughnuts and coffee that came round on Red Nose Day to all 83 units at the centre. Tenants were served by centre staff wearing red noses and deeply boppers, much to their delight!

Basepoint’s Newhaven Enterprise Centre has raised almost £120 for Comic Relief, after the staff at the centre baked and sold homemade cakes. Claire Duc, Basepoint’s centre manager, made some of the cakes and successfully baked her first ever bread pudding, she said: “I haven’t baked anything for years but thought I should give it a go for such a good cause.”
