In order to raise money for Comic Relief, Basepoint Folkestone is planning a week of fundraising events*, including a jumble sale, a car wash day and a barbeque. The centre will also be auctioning a slot on Adam Dowling’s Breakfast Show on KMFM Radio.

Basepoint Winchester first opened its doors to businesses in March 2010 and just a year after opening, the centre is now almost 70% occupied and is home to a wide spectrum of companies from a variety of sectors.
To celebrate International Women’s Day Basepoint at Havant decided to hold a joint ladies networking lunch with Laura Swetman of Aliquantum. The event was well attended with 35 ladies joining us and guest speaker Deirdre MacDonald of Black Swan Marketing. This was followed by lunch and more networking. The event was so successful that we have booked another date in our diary for May.
Major improvement works have begun on Basepoint's newest centre in Camberley which will be a first class facility for small to medium businesses. The first phase is scheduled to be completed April 2011 ready for new licensees to occupy their workspace from May. The centre will comprise of 57 units over the ground, 2nd and 3rd floor. The 1st floor has already been let.
Basepoint are pleased to welcome Karen Williams to our recently acquired centre, Sabre House in Camberley. Karen has been with Basepoint for over a year as Assistant Manager at the Canterbury Innovation Centre. Her wealth of experience setting up Canterbury and supporting new businesses is a great asset to our newest centre which is opening in April 2011. Karen is delighted to be supporting this new venture and looks forward to celebrating the success of the centre.
