Basepoint Folkestone presents cheque to local charity, Hft Kent

Lorraine May, Centre Manager at Basepoint Folkestone recently presented a cheque of £4,954 to local charity, Hft Kent. Gillian Orman, fund development Assistant for Hft Kent accepted the cheque on behalf of the charity. The money was raised following five months of fundraising events, including a sponsored walk, golf day, tombolas, garden fetes, a pamper day, a cake sale at Basepoint Folkestone and sponsorship for Gillian Orman’s London Marathon run.

Sugarloaf RDA Fun Day in Tilbury

Basepoint Tilbury have for the past 2 years supported Sugarloaf Riding for the Disabled by organising and running a number of fund-raising activities. Sugarloaf RDA aims to improve the lives of people with special needs and disabilities by providing opportunities for horse riding. Their riders find that riding enriches their lives, by encouraging confidence, co-ordination and physical exercise. They benefit physically, personally and socially and most of all, they have fun! It brings a whole new dimension into their lives.

On Wednesday 21st September, Basepoint Winchester and Romsey are joining forces to host a free networking event ‘The Networking Hub’, which is open to Basepoint licensees and local businesses. The event will provide the opportunity to network, meet new people, and generate new business – and also includes two expert speakers providing advice on best practice guides.
