The Business Show Swindon 2012 took place at the Steam museum on the 1st February 2012. The show featured a broad showcase of more than 80 exhibitors from across the region and attracted more than 800 visitors. The show featured a topical seminar programme, free speed networking sessions and a conference café for networking, refreshments and one to one meetings.

Basepoint Business Centre Crawley supported charity Outreach 3 Way’s Christmas fundraising campaign ‘Be a Star’ with a series of activities at the centre. To raise money centre staff ran a raffle, with the top prize of a giant teddy bear kindly donated by Justin Acres of Clearwater, as well as a competition to guess the number of chocolate stars in a jar won by Gary Brooks of GB Physio.
12 of the youngest and brightest entrepreneurs in the Gatwick Diamond battled for a place in the final during the semi-final of Young Start Up Talent held at Basepoint Business Centre Crawley. The entries are competing for a prize worth over £50,000 including business services and support to launch the winning idea, donated by the judges and sponsors of the competition.
Basepoint Bournemouth recently held its first Networking Hub for 2012 which achieved its best turnout so far, with approximately 60 local business individuals in attendance. The event provided the opportunity to network, meet new people, generate new business – and also listen to two guest speakers.
