Emma Smyth and Julie Broomhall were just 23 and 27 respectively when they took the leap to set up Twisted Kiwi Marketing in June 2011. Having spent a number of years working for marketing agencies, they decided the time had come to throw caution to the wind and head into the world of business ownership.

Basepoint Basingstoke is delighted to announce that St. Michael’s Hospice has been selected as the centre’s chosen charity for the next financial year. St. Michael’s Hospice provides an invaluable service to the local community and has a huge impact on the lives of people with life-limiting illnesses as well as supporting their families. The annual running costs of the Hospice are over £3.3 million, of which they receive around 18% from the Hampshire Primary Care Trust. With the help of supporters from the local community, the Hospice can continue to provide its vital services to patients across North Hampshire.
Local businesses are invited to ‘The Networking Hub’, a free business event on Thursday 21st June at Basepoint Folkestone. The event aims to provide individuals with the opportunity to listen to expert speakers as well as network, meet new people and generate new business.
To start the Jubilee weekend of fun, Basepoint Southampton put on a 1953 themed Jubilee Afternoon Tea Party for licencees and visitors.
Basepoint Bournemouth and their clients were delighted to be able to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee by attending a Cream Tea event at the Centre. Licencees were all game for participating in the celebrations, and donned regal crowns and Union Jack hats whilst enjoying the delicious array of goodies on offer. To add to the entertainment there was a Diamond Jubilee quiz which was won by Dorothy Brown from The Frost Group.
