On Saturday 21st September 2013, Lyn Chapman Centre Manager at Basepoint Swindon took part in a 9 hour ‘spinathon’ on behalf of local charity Inner Flame. Teams of 3-4 people cycled their way through Saturday, combining their efforts to cycle 5500 miles, the length of the Great Wall of China. Lyn commented ‘It was certainly a challenge all the teams got really involved by supporting each other. The whole event had a really buoyant atmosphere, even though there were a few tired legs by the end of the day’
A night of success for the Newhaven Enterprise Centre at the 2013 Business Matters Awards, hosted by presenter Fred Dineage. The evening provided an opportunity to celebrate the success and achievements of many local firms operating across a wide range of markets in the region.
