Circuit of Portsmouth Complete
On probably the hottest day of the year so far Andrew completed the Portsmouth Big Bike Ride that saw entrants complete a full circuit of Portsea Island raising funds for The Royal British Legion.
Andrew said, “I was sweating before we even started, it was that hot!” “Whilst most of it was on cycle tracks, there was one stretch that was on a gravel patch not more than a foot wide with a drop into the creek on one side that definitely took a lot of concentration to get through safely”. “A great ride that raised funds for a worthwhile cause, my next ride will be the GoSkyRide in Southampton at the end of July”.
