Basepoint Dartford continue to thrive one year on

Basepoint Dartford, ‘The Base’, recently held a ‘Grand Opening and First Anniversary’ event in celebration of their achievements over the past year. The event was attended by 160 people, including guest speakers: Brian Andrews Executive Director of Basepoint Centres, Cllr Ann Allen, Mayor of Dartford Borough Council, representative of The ACT Foundation, Derek Joseph, and Director of Power to Achieve, Andy Harrington.

Allison Sweeney, Basepoint Dartford’s centre manager, comments: “The Base first opened on 4th July 2011 and in the first month we welcomed 27 businesses. We now have over 70 businesses on site with just a few offices remaining, which just goes to show that businesses in Kent are thriving.
“We enjoyed a party with hog roast, candy floss, and cloudy lemonade. It was a wonderful day and we would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past year and we look forward to welcoming new businesses to the centre in the future.”
