Basepoint Tewkesbury make donation to local school
Basepoint Tewkesbury recently held a fundraiser in aid of local charity, Alderman Knight School, and raised a total of £240 which will go towards improving the educational needs of children aged 4 – 16 years with learning difficulties.
Alderman Knight is a successful and well-established school for children with moderated and additional learning difficulties, complex needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The school has an excellent reputation and a highly skilled staff team who work together to ensure all children experience an exciting curriculum tailored to meet their individual needs.
Claire Vagges, centre manager at Basepoint Tewkesbury, comments: “We’re pleased to donate this money to our chosen charity, Alderman Knight School, and that so many people in the local community participated in the name of a great cause! The fundraiser was also an opportunity for businesses in the area to come together and meet, as we’re often approached by SMEs who miss the social aspect of being part of a large organisation.”
Basepoint Business Centres, who specialise in the development and operation of flexible business, innovation and enterprise centres, is owned by The ACT Foundation, a leading UK grant-making charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life of those in need. As such, each centre is dedicated to fundraising for a selected charity and The ACT Foundation match funds any money raised by the chosen charity.

The centre is ideally located at Tewkesbury Business Park, adjacent to junction 9 of the M5 motorway, with easy access to the Midlands and South West, whilst being 5 minutes from the historic market town centre.
